AKAP Buses Sprayed with Disinfectant at Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal

Preventing COVID-19 transmission, East Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency sterilized intercity interprovincial (AKAP) buses which had just arrived at Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal, Cakung, from Sunday (5/16) night to Monday (5/17).

Until this morning, there are three AKAP buses that have been sprayed with disinfectant

Four East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency personnel sprayed all parts of the bus with disinfectant, from doors, stairs, windows, passenger seats, to driver seat.

Disinfectant Spraying Conducted in Jembatan Cinta of Tidung Island

East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency's Fire Control and Rescue Head, Gatot Sulaeman mentioned, as of today's morning, only three AKAP buses had been sprayed with disinfectant. These three buses have just arrived from Kudus and Solo, Central Java. Disinfectant spraying will continue until afternoon since it is predicted more buses will arrive at that time.

"Until this morning, there are three AKAP buses that have been sprayed with disinfectant at Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal. Because its number will likely to increase, the spraying will continue until afternoon," he stated, Monday (5/17).

For disinfectant spraying, his side equipped personnel with 1 water sprayer with capacity 16 liters.

"So far there are no obstacles in spraying process," he conveyed.
