Passengers who Arrived at Kalideres Terminal Directed to Take Swab Test

Kalideres Intercity and Interprovincial (AKAP) Bus Terminal, West Jakarta, has required passengers who have just arrived at the terminal to take rapid antigen (swab) test.

Kalideres AKAP Bus Terminal Head, Revi Zulkarnaen mentioned, until Monday (5/17) morning, 95 passengers who had just arrived at terminal immediately underwent rapid antigen test. His side found two of them were tested positive for COVID-19.

"Passengers who have just arrived are immediately directed to Health Post to take swab test. From the results, two passengers who arrived at Kalideres Terminal on Sunday (5/16) are tested positive for COVID-19," he informed, Monday (5/17).

His side immediately sterilized bus that carrying passengers who tested positive for COVID-19.

"Passengers who tested positive for COVID-19 are immediately referred to Kalideres Health Center for PCR test. If PCR test result is confirmed positive, they will be referred to Wisma Atlet Kemayoran," he stated.

His side urged bus crews not to drop off passengers outside the terminal to ensure passengers' health.

"We ask bus crews to obedient in dropping passengers off at terminal. We also instruct our personnel to implement strict health protocols such as wearing mask, gloves, maintaining safe distance, and so on," he said.
