Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo conveyed, there are two AKAP terminals that are still operating on May 6-17, namely Kalideres Type A Terminal and Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal.
"Transportation Ministry has exempted buses with special stickers at two terminals to transport non-homecoming travelers and travelers with urgent needs," he mentioned, Wednesday (5/5).
Dishub Head Inspects Health Protocol Implementation at Kalideres TerminalAccording to Addendum to COVID-19 Task Force Head Circular Letter (SE) No. 13/2021, people who are allowed to travel are those with urgent needs, including work/official travel (equipped with official letter), visiting sick family, visiting deceased family members, pregnant women who are accompanied by one family member, the need for childbirth accompanied by maximum of two people.
"Buses are not allowed to transport homecoming travelers, but it can transport travelers with certain conditions in accordance with COVID-19 Task Force SE No. 13/2021 and Transportation Ministry Regulation No. 13/2021," he asserted.
He stated that travelers with urgent needs or non-homecoming travelers are still required to show negative COVID-19 certificate.
"We are still carrying out passengers screening at departure terminal," he added.
Moreover, Transportation Ministry had issued special sticker for buses that would continue to operate during the implementation of Homecoming Ban policy that makes it easier for officers to identify buses that are allowed to operate or transport passengers who have met the requirements.
"Only buses with special stickers that can operate and carry passengers with urgent needs or non-homecoming passengers that have been screened and examined," he said.
