Kalideres Terminal Innovating Into Modern Terminal

Jakarta Provincial Government keeps improving the public transportation facilities. One of them is by revitalizing the bad condition of Kalideres Terminal.

Modern looks will be applied to Kalideres Terminal, or similar to Manggarai Terminal

The revitalization of the biggest terminal in West Jakarta is predicted to spend Rp 300 billion. The project will run from the middle of 2015 up to three years ahead.

Kalideres Terminal Head, Joko Sukarno said, the project uses multi years budget and run gradually due to the terminal width.

"Modern looks will be applied to Kalideres Terminal, or similar to Manggarai Terminal. It has two or three stories building as car and public transport parking and office," he said, Monday (11/17).

As the first stage, he added, four stories of parking lot will be built as the current parking lot is out of capacity.

"Motorcycle parking lot will be also provided in better condition. Many people left their motorcycles in terminal to ride public transport to their working place," he stated.

The second stage is demolishing the office, and third stage is demolishing all building in terminal.
