North Jakarta Mayor Monitors Eid Backflow in Sunter Jaya

North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim and his subordinates monitored Eid backflow at RW 10 Sunter Jaya Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district, North Jakarta, on Tuesday (5/18).

He appreciated RW 10 Sunter Jaya Urban Village administrators who were considered active in collecting data on residents who returned after Eid holiday. According to him, RW 10 administrators were quick to take initiatives in preventing COVID-19 spread.

"RW 10 Sunter Jaya Urban Village administrators become a good role model because RW administrators are our key in collecting data on residents who returned from their hometowns. As administrators,  they are the one who know their residents well," he stated.

36 People in Semper Barat Undergo Antigen Test

RW administrators not only registered local residents who had returned, but also household assistants (ART) and construction workers who worked in RW area. They were required to take rapid antigen test after returning from their hometown. For information, this rapid antigen test is provided for free.

"I saw residents who are aware to report and check their health, especially from exposure to COVID-19. It means socialization given by local RW/RT administrators has been running according to applicable regulations," he said.

RW 10 Sunter Jaya Urban Village Head, Fransiskus Frans added, around 200 residents were targeted in this homecoming backflow data collection.

"They cannot refuse because our COVID-19 Task Force Team has monitored people who go to their hometown on Eid," he explained.

Rapid antigen test is carried out on Tuesday (5/18) and Thursday (5/20). Today, rapid antigen test was given to 90 residents from RT 01-09 who had just returned. While residents from RT 09-20 are scheduled to take medical test on Thursday (5/20).

"If there are residents, household assistants (ARTs), and construction workers who returned after Thursday, we will hold rapid antigen test again on Saturday (5/22)," he conveyed.
