600 Health Workers Prepared for Random Checks at Border Jakarta

As many as 600 health workers from Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) have been alerted at rapid antigen test posts provided for the drivers heading to Jakarta.

They are in charge for 24 hours, which are divided into three shifts for each post

Those health workers were on standby in five locations, namely Pulo Gebang, Kalideres, Tanjung Priok, Kampung Rambutan terminals and Cikampek KM 34 Toll Road.

Referral Health Services and Health Crisis Division Head, Sulung detailed, 348 health workers were in four terminals and 252 others were at Cikampek KM 34 Toll Road. They were from private clinical labs, private hospital labs and general hospitals (RSUD).

"They are in charge for 24 hours, which are divided into three shifts for each post," he expressed, Tuesday (5/18).

He explained residents heading to Jakarta would be randomly checked for travel permits. If they could not show the negative certificate, they should undergo swab test.

"But if they have it, they are allowed to pass," he explained.

If the result was negative, he added, they would be given a free COVID-19 certificate and the vehicle would also have a special sticker attached.

"But if someone is positive, they will be brought to isolation places using school buses," he stated.
