SIKM is No Longer Used After Homecoming Ban Period Has Ended

Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (PMPTSP) Agency officially closed licensing service for Exit and Entry Permits (SIKM) for Jakarta area during Eid homecoming ban as of May 17, 2021.

1,791 documents requested for visiting deceased family members

"It is in accordance with Governor's Decree No. 569/2021 concerning Procedure for Exit and Entry Permits (SIKM) for Jakarta area during Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri Homecoming Ban Period and COVID-19 Task Force Head Circular Letter No. 13/2021 on Eid al-Fitr 1442 Hijri Homecoming Ban.

Jakarta PMPTSP Agency Head, Benni Aguscandra said, when SIKM applied, most applicants requested SIKM for visiting sick families with total 3,595 documents.

Application for SIKM is Targeted to Be Published in Less than Three Hours

"While 1,791 documents requested for visiting deceased family members, 421 documents for pregnant women, 248 documents for childbirth," he conveyed, Wednesday (5/19).

Most people who asked for SIKM are East Jakarta residents, with total 1,609 documents. While most applicants choose Central Java as their destination province with total 1,265 documents.

"Besides, there are 779 documents from Jakarta residents who are outside Jakarta who want to make SIKM to enter Jakarta for urgent non-homecoming purposes," he said.
