City Informs Procedure to Apply for SIKM

Jakarta Government has issued regulations regarding Entry and Exit Permits (SIKM) for Jakarta Province. SIKM is valid during the eid homecoming ban period, which start from Thursday (5/6) to Monday (5/17). The regulation has been stipulated in Jakarta Governor's decree (Kepgub) No. 569/2021 on Procedure for Issuance of Permit to Entry and Exit Jakarta Province during Eid al-Fitr 1442 H Homecoming Ban Period.
SIKM issuance is no later than two days after completing requirements
Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan explained Kepgub No. 569/2021 regulates several things. "First, for SIKM issuance is no later than two days after completing requirements and it is valid until homecoming ban period is over. Second, non-homecoming travelers who have SIKM should bring PCR or antigen swab or GeNose result which states negative from COVID-19 during their trip. With sample is taken within maximum 1x24 hours period," he explained, as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release, on Thursday (5/6).

Furthermore, SIKM is only given to individuals who are traveling for non-homecoming purpose, which divided into 4 categories. Category 1 is for visiting sick family. Category 2 is for visiting deceased family members. Category 3 is for pregnant women who are accompanied by one family member. Category 4 is for people with the need of childbirth who accompanied with maximum 2 people.
Applicants who are included in those four categories above can visit https://jakevo.jakarta.go.id and upload the requirements. After that, file verification will be conducted by Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (UP PMPTSP) Unit at urban village level. If the file is valid, SIKM will be issued electronically and signed by Urban Village Head. Then, applicants can download SIKM at https://jakevo.jakarta.go.id.
The following are requirements that must be uploaded by SIKM applicants:
1. Visiting sick family members:
a. Applicant's ID card (KTP)
b. sick note from local Health Facility for family that will be visited; and
c. statement with stamp of Rp.10,000 from applicant stating the kinship relationship with the family visited.
2. Visiting deceased family members:
a. Applicant's ID card (KTP)
b. Death certificate from health center (Puskesmas)/Hospital or death certificate from local urban village; and
c. Statement with stamp of Rp.10,000 from applicant stating the kinship relationship with the deceased's family.
3. Pregnancy/Childbirth Purpose:
a. Applicant's ID card (KTP)
b. Certificate of pregnancy/childbirth from health facility
4. Companion for pregnant women or women in labor:
a. Applicant's ID card (KTP)
b. Certificate of pregnancy/childbirth from health facility
c. Statement with stamp of Rp.10,000 from applicant stating the kinship relationship with the pregnant women or women in labor.
