Four Returnees Confirmed Positive for COVID-19 in Johar Baru

Three pillars of Johar Baru Sub-district, Central Jakarta intensively collected data and checked health of residents who had just returned from their hometowns.

242 returnees had their health checked at health center and Kampung Tangguh Jaya Post

Johar Baru Sub-district Head, Nurhelmi Savitri said, as of this Thursday (5/20), 242 returnees had their health checked at health center and Kampung Tangguh Jaya Post. As the results, four returnees were tested positive for COVID-19 after undergoing antigen tests.

She revealed that three of four residents who are exposed to COVID-19 are one family. In that family, two of them have been taken to Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Hospital for further treatment, while the other one is undergoing self-isolation because she has a baby.

Meanwhile the other person who is also positive for COVID-19 is undergoing self-isolation at GOR Johar Baru while waiting for PCR test.

"If the result is positive, we will refer him to Wisma Atlet Kemayoran," she conveyed.

Her side also coordinated with officers from Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency to sterilize houses owned by residents who were tested positive for COVID-19 for three consecutive days.

"Three pillars of Johar Baru Sub-district are also closely monitoring one resident who is currently undergoing self-isolation at home to prevent COVID-19 spread," she mentioned.
