East Jakarta Sudinhub Stops Illegal Travel Car From Operating

On Friday (5/21), East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) personnel stopped minibus used to transport newcomers illegally.

East Jakarta Sudinhub's Monitoring and Controlling Section Head, Riky Erwinda mentioned, illegal travel minibus which brought four newcomers from Banjarnegara, Central Java to Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, was caught by officers in Lintas Jaya Operation which held on Klender Flyover, Pulogadung.

"We impound the travel minibus and send the passengers to take antigen test at Pulogebang Integrated Terminal," he explained.

Lintas Jaya Operation, he continued, which involved 25 personnel with assistance from TNI and police, would be intensified to net newcomers without COVID-19-free certificates.

"This operation is also carried out to anticipate vehicles that are not equipped with documents and violate traffic law," he said.
