PT Transportation Jakarta (Transjakarta) has reopened its Royaltrans premium service for Summarecon Bekasi - Kuningan (B14) and Summarecon Bekasi - Blok M (B13) routes.

We also continue to serve customers as much as possible under strict health protocols

Both routes are effective in serving the commuters starting today with operational times from 6 AM to 8 PM and 4 PM - 7 PM. Royaltrans only operates on weekdays or Monday - Friday.

PT Transjakarta Operational Director Acting Head, Welfizon Yuza said it was a follow-up to Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Decree number 223/2019 on Transjakarta Service Big Bus Routes.

It was in line with the theme "Jakarta Bangkit", which was made by the Jakarta administration during the declaration of the Jakarta's 494th anniversary.

"We slowly rise in terms of services amid the pandemic, routes to the provision of these advanced facilities and secure. We also continue to serve customers as much as possible under strict health protocols," he expressed, Thursday (5/27).  

He explained Transjakarta provided five units of the fleet on each route. As for enjoying this service, commuters were charged a fare Rp 20,000 for one trip.

"Customers who have ordered tickets will get a notification message to confirm 30 minutes before the departure time," he explained.

According to him, currently Royaltrans ticket bookings through the TIJE application had been updated to make the validation more accurate. Thus, there was no possibility of doubling, either the ticket or seat selection when placing an order.

"Hopefully Transjakarta will revive and serve the public in normal conditions as soon as possible according to the aspirations of the Jakarta administration. Together we can," he continued.

He added all fleets were confirmed to have fulfilled all health protocols such as cleaning them using disinfectant periodically and installing a safety distance mark on the seats to the availability of hand sanitizers on the bus that could be used by customers.

"We are also still limiting the number of passengers, which is 50 percent of normal capacity (a maximum of 15 people)," he stated.
