15 SDA Personnel Build Infiltration Wells on Jl. DI Panjaitan

As many as 15 Water Resources (SDA) Unit personnel were deployed to build infiltration wells on Jl. DI Panjaitan, Jatinegara, East Jakarta on Thursday (6/3). They are currently building 15 infiltration wells which spread from Teras Kita Resto until front of Brantas Pump House along 700 meters.

Infiltration wells are built with depth 20 meters

Jatinegara Sub-district SDA Unit Coordinator, Tamrizal stated, 15 infiltration wells were built to overcome inundation that occurred on Jl. DI Panjaitan, especially in front of Patria Park Hotel. Previously, his side had built 22 infiltration wells from in front of Al Bahri Mosque until front of Jatinegara Sub-district Office.

"Currently, we are building 15 more infiltration wells on Jl. DI Panjaitan. We hope it can overcome inundation that often occur on Jl. DI Panjaitan. In addition, we also clean up channel routinely," he explained.

Two Infiltration Wells Built in Pramuka Bird Market

His side used one drilling machine to make infiltration well. This work is targeted to be completed in about two weeks.

"Infiltration wells are built with depth 20 meters," he closed.
