The Thousand Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has completed the development of 10 infiltration wells in the Nyiur Melambai Child-friendly Public Space (RPTRA), Kelapa Island Urban Village, North Thousand Islands Sub-district.
Thousand Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri said those wells were made to follow up on the request of the urban village regarding inundation that hit the Nyiur Melambai RPTRA area some time ago.
Infiltration Wells in Central Jakarta will Be Recorded"This well development conducted by six personnel since April 9 and has completed today," he expressed, Wednesday (4/28).
He explained each well had 50 centimeters diameters with 80 centimeters depth.
"Hopefully it can minimize inundation when it rains," he hoped.
