Ahok Asked Public Works Dept. Repair Damaged Pump

Acting Jakarta Governor (Plt), Basuki Tjahaja Purnama ordered his party to fix the damaged pump immediately. It is done after he monitored some pump houses in the capital.

He added, Jakarta Public Works (PU) Department will fix all damage of water pump machine to anticipate flood in capital immediately.

He admitted to go with Jakarta Public Work Department Head during his visit to some house pump and Ciliwung River to see the real condition at the field.

Ahok, his familiar name, also asked Jakarta Public Works Department to avoid the river maintenance project tender in capital.

"We have budget, why we not buy the heavy equipment and put it there. Dredge and maintenance by our self, all of this are our river. All river in Jakarta must be dredged. Our Target, in 2016, all Ciliwung project is complete," he said.
