Jakarta City Park and Forestry Agency's Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) Head, Ivan Murcahyo stated, beautification work includes decorating areas, planting various flowers, such as chrysanthemums, sunflowers, marigolds, and celosia, as well as installing banners.
"We beautify several locations simultaneously from H-3 of Jakarta's 494th Anniversary," he conveyed, Wednesday (6/9).

"We will also install banners in courtyard areas of Jakarta City Hall and mayor offices, Jl. M.H. Thamrin-Sudirman, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, and Halim Perdanakusuma Fountain," he explained.
According to him, beautification is a symbol from theme of Jakarta's 494th Anniversary, namely 'Jakarta Bangkit' (Jakarta Awakening).
"We hope city collaboration with all elements of Jakarta society can be developed into a more creative and smart Jakarta," he said.
