TransJakarta Bus Lane Widening Hampered by Land Acquisition

Jakarta Provincial Government’s plan to widen TransJakarta bus lane in Pinang Ranti Urban Village, Makasar Sub-District, East Jakarta, is still hampered by land acquisition. Whereas, the land acquisition process has been carried out since 2009.

According to Head of Land and Spatial Arrangement Sub-Division for East Jakarta Land Procurement Committee (P2T), Rudi Sahrul, the residents are insisted on asking for land acquisition compensation as much as Rp 10 million per meter. On the other hand, his party refers to Tax Object Sales Value (NJOP) in that area which worth around Rp 3.2 million-Rp 4 million per meter.
“There has been no solution between Jakarta Provincial Government and the residents about the compensation until now,” he stated, Tuesday (11/18).
Ahok Suggests 50 Percent Down Payment in Land AcquisitionBased on East Jakarta P2T data, Sahrul continued, there are 76 land lots to be acquired. If the land acquisition process has completed, Jalan Raya Pondok Gede towards Pinang Ranti Terminal will be widened to six meters.
Meanwhile, Rizki Aprianto (29), one of RT 02/01 Pinang Ranti resident whose land affected by land acquisition, stressed that he still refused the compensation price offered in the amount of Rp 3.2 million-Rp 4 million.
“We clearly refuse it. We still ask for price at Rp 10 million,” he asserted.
