Central Jakarta Starts to Vaccinate Residents Aged 18 Years and Over

Central Jakarta Health Sub-agency starts to give COVID-19 vaccines to residents aged 18 years and over in 8 sub-districts.

Vaccination for residents aged 18 years and over is given as an effort to speed up building herd immunity in order to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

"We have astrazaneca vaccine stock for 1,200 residents a day per urban village," conveyed Erizon Safari, Head of Central Jakarta Health Sub-agency, Wednesday (6/9).

His side is currently vaccinating residents aged 50-59 years and residents who live in 98 slum RWs and integrated areas throughout Central Jakarta.

"All vaccination targets are carried out by health center teams throughout Central Jakarta," he stated.
