Anticipating High COVID-19 Cases, 100 Velbeds Prepared at KH Hasyim Asy'ari Mosque

Jakarta Government is on alert to face a surge of COVID-19 cases. In order to handle it, government added integrated isolation location for residents. One of them is located at KH Hasyim Asy'ari Mosque on Jalan Daan Mogot, Cengkareng, West Jakarta with capacity of 100 beds.

KH Hasyim Asy'ari Mosque is prepared as isolation location for residents who are exposed to COVID-19 without symptoms (OTG)

KH Hasyim Asy'ari Mosque Management Secretariat Head, Suprapto stated, KH Hasyim Asy'ari Mosque is designated as one of self-isolation location accordance with mandate of Gubernatorial Decree No. 762/2021 on Isolation Locations in Order to Handle COVID-19.

"KH Hasyim Asy'ari Mosque is prepared as isolation location for residents who are exposed to COVID-19 without symptoms (OTG) if Wisma Atlet is already full," he mentioned, Tuesday (6/22).

West Jakarta Prepares Three Self-Isolation Locations

This mosque has 5 rooms with 8 velbeds each rooms, 3 rooms with 4 velbeds each rooms, and other velbeds in hall area.

Meanwhile, health workers who will serve the patients in this location will be coordinated by West Jakarta Health Sub-agency.

"There is no patients until today, but we are ready if needed," he said.
