Five COVID-19 Vaccination Service Centers Provided in Tidung Island Urban Village

Total five locations were prepared as COVID-19 Vaccination Service Centers in Tidung Island, South Thousand Islands, Thousand Islands. More vaccination locations were added to facilitate people and minimize crowds.

The more people are vaccinated, the faster herd immunity is formed

Those five vaccination locations are located at RPTRA Tidung Ceria, GOR Tidung Island, KUA South Thousand Islands Sub-district, Tidung Island Urban Village Office's yard, and SDN 04 Pulau Payung.

Thousand Islands Assistant for Government and People's Welfare, Sujanto Budiroso stated, vaccination service is open at 08:00-21:00. This service is provided to facilitate residents, especially fishermen, thus they can participate in COVID-19 vaccination.

"We want fishermen who go to the sea from morning to late afternoon can take vaccination at night," he said while monitoring vaccination service at RPTRA Tidung Ceria, Wednesday (6/23).

He hopes RT/RW administrators can encourage and assist their residents to go to vaccination locations.

"The more people are vaccinated, the faster herd immunity is formed and hopefully we can get back to do our normal activities soon," he mentioned.

Meanwhile, Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah said, total 537 targeted residents aged 18-59 years on Tidung Island and Payung Island had been vaccinated.

"Our target is 2,131 people in total. We are optimistic to reach the target as soon as possible," he conveyed.
