Gading Nias Residence Apartment Residents Vaccinated against Covid-19

The Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village is holding the Covid-19 vaccination service at the Gading Nias Residence (GNR) Apartment, RW 27 Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading Sub-district, North Jakarta.

Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village Head, Suci Cintya Polaputri said it had been ongoing since Saturday (6/19) until Friday (6/25) and was targeted to touch 300 people every day.

"It is dedicated to the apartment residents aged 18 years or over, including its caretaker and staff," expressed Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village Head, Suci Cintya Polaputri, Wednesday (6/23).

Since Saturday (6/19) until Tuesday (6/22), his side managed to serve 864 people in the first dose.

"Gading Nias Residence Apartment is also transformed into the Kampung Tangguh. Why we give them vaccine? Because most facilities here are shared and including a vulnerable environment. So we hope the case can quickly subside and return to green zone, so we have to be more disciplined to implement health protocols," he explained.

To smoothen the vaccination, he had established collaboration with puskesmas, RW task force, apartment manager, P3SRAS, RPTRA, as well as Dasawisma cadre including in terms of collecting data on residents and urging them to take vaccine.

"Don't be afraid to get vaccinated as this is based on mutual cooperation. All must be vaccinated. If not, the person will endanger others, so let's succeed it together," he stressed.

One of participants from the apartment, Ikbal (24), admitted that he was grateful to have the opportunity to participate in the vaccination.

"This is very good for us to curb the Covid-19. Even if we are infected, this vaccination can protect us from getting worse. Hopefully we can return to normal activities soon," he hoped.
