Central Jakarta will Set Up Two Tents to Treat COVID-19 Patients at RSUD Tarakan

Central Jakarta Health Sub-agency will install tents as treatment area for COVID-19 patients at Tarakan Public Regional Hospital (RSUD).

We will set up 2 tents and provide additional beds until the next two days

Central Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Erizon Safari conveyed, his side planned to set up two treatment tents with capcity 20 beds in SDN 02 Cideng school building's yard which located opposite the hospital.

"Two tents with and 20 beds will be installed to treat COVID-19 patients at SDN 02 Cideng yard, which is the opposite of RSUD Tarakan," he added, Friday (6/25).

Regarding setting up the emergency tents, his side has coordinated it with Sub-district Head, Education Sub-agency Head, and RSUD Tarakan.

"We will set up 2 tents and provide additional beds until the next two days," he mentioned.

According to him, four other RSUDs in Central Jakarta, including Tanah Abang, Johar Baru, Sawah Besar, and Cempaka Putih cannot add tents and beds to treat the patients due to limited land.

"Bed occupancy rate for COVID-19 patients in Central Jakarta have been reached about 93 percent," he asserted.

His side also asked number of private hospitals in Central Jakarta to set up tents and provide additional beds to treat COVID-19 patients.

"One private hospital in Central Jakarta, Cikini Hospital, has added tents and beds to treat COVID-19 patients," he said.
