Six School Buses Deployed to Serve People for Vaccine at Jl Expo Kemayoran

As many as six school buses belong to the School Transport Management Unit (Upas) for Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) have been deployed to serve residents to reach the Covid-19 vaccination center, which is located at Jl Expo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (6/27).

This is a follow-up to a request from the related police, to make it easier for people to reach the vaccination site

Jakarta Upas Head, Ali Murtadho said it could be accessible at the Ciracas Sector Headquarters (2 buses), Matraman (2 units), Jatinegara (1 bus), Palmerah Sector Police Headquarters (1 bus). It started operating at 11 AM.

"This is a follow-up to a request from the related police, to make it easier for people to reach the vaccination site. We intend to serve 50 people in each pick-up location," he stated.

Yesterday, he deployed 38 buses and managed to carry 627 people to get vaccine at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Senayan. At that time, it was available at 22 pick-up locations, such as Duren Sawit, Cipinang Besar Utara, Kramat Jati urban village offices, etc.
