Bina Marga Helps to Transport Hundreds Oxygen Cylinders to Hospitals

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency helped to transport hundreds oxygen cylinders from producers to hospitals in Jakarta and vice versa. 

We want to ensure there is no problem with oxygen supply to hospitals

Jakarta Bina Marga Agency Head, Hari Nugroho mentioned, 4 dump trucks were deployed to help transporting oxygen cylinders from producer factory in Pulogadung, East Jakarta to RSUD Duren Sawit, RSUD Budhi Asih, RSUD Jati Padang, RSUD Cempaka Putih, and RSUD Kramat Jati.

"We deploy 34 personnel which divided into 2 work shifts, day and night, consisting of 12 personnel for each work shifts," he said, Tuesday (5/29).

His side helped to transport 50 oxygen cylinders with size 6 m3 on June 27 and another 50 oxygen cylinders with the same size on June 28.

"Today, we have distributed 120 oxygen cylinders with size 6 m3 and 37 cylinders with size 1 m3. It is still on progress, but we plan to transport 100 cylinders to RSUD Kramat Jati," he conveyed. 

According to him, transporting vehicles from Bina Marga Agency are also on standby at hospital. Thus when there is empty cylinders, it can be transported immediately and refilled, and sent back to hospital.

"We want to ensure there is no problem with oxygen supply to hospitals whose need for oxygen have increased recently. Thus health services in Jakarta can remain optimal," he stated.
