JakWIFI Supports Distance Learning Activity

Jakarta Government provides free internet access through JakWIFI program. This free internet program is provided, especially in densely populated residential areas. This service is beneficial for residents, especially students, to support distance learning during COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently only four RWs that have been installed with JakWIFI
In West Jakarta, this service is provided in Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, Cengkareng Sub-district.
Cengkareng Barat Urban Village Head, Raden Ilham Agustian mentioned, JakWIFI installation in the region was carried out in stages. Currently, JakWIFI can be utilized in four RWs, namely RW 07, 08, 09 and 10.

"So far, JakWIFI has been very helpful for residents, especially underprivileged students to take a part in distance learning activity during the pandemic," he conveyed.
He hopes JakWIFI program can support and encourage students to study well during the pandemic.
"We hope residents, especially students, can be easier to access JakWIFI service in the future, thus they don't find difficulties in participating in distance learning activity," he stated.
