BMKG Forecasts Light Shower in Parts of Jakarta Today

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast rain in some areas of the capital today, Thursday (7/1).

"Jakartans must be aware of the potential for rain with light-moderate intensity in East and South Jakarta in this afternoon to night," stated BMKG's official site.

In the afternoon, light rain is expected to shower South and East Jakarta, while cloudy in West, Central, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

Rain in Several Jakarta Regions Today, BMKG Says

Entering the night, South Jakarta will see cloudy, followed by clear cloudy in West, Central, East, North Jakarta and Thousand Islands.

At tomorrow's dawn, most areas of Jakarta would be cloudy.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands is predicted at 23 to 33 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 55 to 85 percent.
