Dharma Jaya Brings 500 Cows from NTT for the Upcoming Eid ul-Adha

PD Dharma Jaya is about to bring in as many as 500 cows from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) to meet the needs of sacrificial animals on the forthcoming Eid al-Adha 1442 Hijri.

Dharma Jaya President Director, Raditya Endra Budiman said as many as 155 out of 500 cows were already available at the Dharma Jaya Cage, Jalan Pgilan, Cakung, East Jakarta and the cage located in Serang.

"The delivery of these cows is done two to three times," he expressed, Monday (7/5).

He explained the weight of the imported cows ranged from 200 to 270 kg. This beef from NTT is famous for its chewy meat texture and more carcass compared to other cows.

As for the information, orders for sacrificial animals such as cows, goats and sheep have been open since June 16.

They also opened a slaughtering service for sacrificial cows. In detail, the service from cutting to carcass is divided into four at a price of Rp 750,000; slaughtering, chopping and packaging services (purchase of sacrificial animals through the marketing of Dharma Jaya) at a price of Rp 1,500,000. Meanwhile, slaughtering, chopping and packaging services (purchase of sacrificial animals not through PD Dharma Jaya) is priced at Rp 1,800,000.
