Jakarta Government is committed to make innovation and breakthroughs in maintaining food security in all regions of Jakarta. Jakarta Government through Jakarta KPKP Agency and Jakarta Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMDs) in Food Sector, namely PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, Perumda Pasar Jaya, and PD. Dharma Jaya, build collaboration with stakeholders, business actors, and public to prepare and maintain food supply in accordance with the condition. Because a properly fulfilled food supply can maintain food price stability.

For this reason, Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria encouraged all people to increase awareness of food security in Jakarta, especially in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic, since it is very important to maintain food price stability. He also supports various community activities in strengthening food security, both individual and group. It was conveyed when attending inauguration of Trade Community Center Pick Up initiated by Indonesia Food & Agriculture Council (IFAC) and Khalifa Incorporation, at Daarul Adzkaar Mosque, Karang Tengah Raya, Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, on Saturday (3/20).
"We hope there will be efforts from various groups, communities, organizations that concern about food security. Jakarta Government welcomes this event, one of which is to share knowledge between Regional Government, Central Government, business actors, especially that related to food security. Through Jakarta KPKP Agency, we run various programs to strengthen food security in the community, such as intensifying socialization and trainings to every element of society as urban farmer activists," he said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

Besides, he also welcomed and appreciated Indonesia Food and Agriculture Council (IFAC) and Khalifa Incorporation for collaborating in building the future food security facilities while increasing Indonesia's competitiveness, initiating launch of #BangkitBersama Corona 'Sehat Sejahtera Pangan Indonesia', as well as holding inauguration of the first Trade Community Center Pick Up at Darul Adzkaar Mosque, South Jakarta.
