The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Agency has made a number of adjustments to tourism business policies in relation to the Implementation of Emergency Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM Darurat) in Jakarta.

Parekraf Agency Acting Head, Gumilar Ekalaya said that types of tourism businesses that could still operate but were limited by having to implement strict health protocols, namely accommodation service providers; restaurant/cafe; marriage contract/blessing/wedding ceremony and wedding reception at hotels and conference halls that already have an organizing permit.
"Accommodation service providers operate 100 percent 24 hours with strict procedures, and apply a maximum of 50 percent for work from office. Operational facilities supporting accommodation services such as spas, swimming pools, gyms, sports fields and others, following the operational provisions of the type of business," he expressed, Monday (7/5).
He explained that cafe and restaurant business activities, both independent and as hotel business facilities or located in shopping centers/malls, could operate on the condition that they only accept takeaway or delivery services, instead of dine-in.
"Then drinking houses/bars serving alcoholic beverages must be closed," he continued.
According to him, the time for the marriage contract, blessing, ceremony and wedding reception was limited to 6 AM to 8 PM with a maximum capacity of 30 percent of visitors and should be under strict health protocols.
"No eating at the reception. Provision of food is only allowed in a private place and to take home," he explained.
He added, tourism businesses that violate the provisions would be subject to sanctions in accordance with Gubernatorial Regulation number 3/2021 on Implementing Regulations of Bylaw number 2/2020 on Covid-19 Handling.
"The sanctions given are warning, temporary suspension of activities, administrative fine with a maximum of Rp 50 million, temporary suspension of permits to revocation of permits," he stated.
