The Jakarta Environment (LH) Agency handles medical hazardous and toxic waste (B3) in five controlled isolation locations.
The medical B3 waste is in the form of PPE, masks, used gloves and other infectious waste
Those locations are Graha Wisata TMII, Graha Wisata Ragunan, Rusun Nagrak, Cik’s Mansion, Lembaga PMP, and KH Hasyim Asy'ari Grand Mosque.

"The medical B3 waste is in the form of PPE, masks, used gloves and other infectious waste. We provide facilities and infrastructure in the form of yellow plastic bags and special containers for medical B3 waste such as freezer boxes, and dust bins," he expressed, Tuesday (7/6).
He explained that the agency was collaborating with a licensed third party from the Environment and Forestry Ministry to transport and treat medical B3 waste.
"Waste from all activities in the red zone becomes infectious waste. It includes food scraps, drinks, used packages that have been touched by the patient," he stated.
