Kebagusan Urban Village Adds One Waste Bank at RT 09

Kebagusan Urban Village, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, added 1 waste bank at RT 09 RW 08. In the beginning of its inauguration, this waste bank weighed one ton of inorganic waste.

Kebagusan Urban Village Head, Leo Yudha Harahap mentioned, waste bank which was built by local residents on an empty land on Jalan Mael has 30 customers. By inaugurating this waste bank, it means Kebagusan Urban Village now has 14 waste banks in total.
"Hopefully it can help to decrease waste volume in our region which disposed to Bantargebang Landfill," he said, Saturday (6/19).
Climate Village Program Coaching in Thousand Islands IntensifiedHe explained, there are four tons organic and inorganic waste produced in these 8 RWs and 88 RTs every day.
"Not only waste bank, we also inaugurate medicinal herb garden which taken care by local residents on the location," he stated.
