FSTJ Ensures Rice Stock During Emergency PPKM is Safe

Rice stock in Jakarta during implementation of Emergency PPKM is ensured to be safe in order to meet the needs of residents.

The current stock is very sufficient for the need of residents in Jakarta

PT. Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (FSTJ) President Director, Pamrihadi Wiraryo stated, rice stock at Food Station warehouse reached 8,000 tons. While rice stock at Cipinang Rice Central Market (PIBC), which is also managed by PT. FSTJ, reached 42,000 tons.

"Rice stock is still abundant for the next few months because it is still in harvest period. Normally, rice stock at PIBC is ranging from 32,000 to 34,000," he mentioned, Wednesday (7/7).

With the current rice stock, he reassured residents not to worry and panic buying.

"The current stock is very sufficient for the need of residents in Jakarta. Besides, the price is still stable," he conveyed.
