Tidung Island PPKM Post Distributes Food Aid to Isolated Residents

The PPKM Command Post for Tidung Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands, distributed food aid to Payung Island residents who are undergoing self-isolation due to exposure to Covid-19.

Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah said the aid provided was in the form of chicken meat, chicken eggs, instant noodles and margarine.

"Hopefully it can make them feel calmer while undergoing self-isolation and focus on recovering their health," he expressed, Wednesday (7/7).

According to him, Payung Island is currently still under micro-lockdown after 40 residents tested positive for Covid-19.

"During isolation, they are not allowed to leave the house. Hence, we help them. Meanwhile, health monitoring is carried out by a team from the puskesmas," he stated.
