 29 Persen Warga 18 Tahun Keatas Cengkareng Telah Tervaksin

104,000 Residents Aged 18 Years and Over Have Been Vaccinated in Cengkareng

Cengkareng Sub-district, West Jakarta reported 29 local residents aged 18 years and over have been injected with first dose COVID-19 vaccine. This number will increase as vaccination program continue to be intensified.

This number will increase because vaccination is still ongoing

Cengkareng Sub-district Head, Ahmad Faqih mentioned, his side targeted 356,400 residents aged 18 years and over to be vaccinated in the region. As of today, 104,000 residents or 29 percent of target have received first dose vaccine.

"This number will increase because vaccination is still ongoing and we will continue to intensify vaccination activity," he asserted, Friday (7/9).

In order to achieve the target, his side opened cooperation with various parties, such as private sectors and communities.

"We will also cooperate with MUI and Indonesian Mosque Council (MUI) thus many people can participate in this activity," he said.

He told people not to worry because vaccine is safe, halal and has been clinically tested.

"So, residents don't need to worry because vaccine has been clinically tested and declared safe and halal from authorized institution," he stated.
