9,479 Pegadungan Residents Have Been Vaccinated

Pegadungan Urban Village, Kalideres Sub-district, West Jakarta intensified mass vaccination program for residents aged 18 years and over. So far, 9,479 residents have received first dose vaccine.

We are targeting 1,000 residents to be vaccinated a day

Pegadungan Urban Village Head, Adith Pratama said, as many as 9,479 residents or 20 percent of total target 48,553 residents had been vaccinated.

"We are targeting 1,000 residents to be vaccinated a day in static vaccination location in health center and two dynamic location in Citra 3 and GOR Kalideres," he explained, Thursday (7/8).

He admitted that it was not easy to achieve the target. Moreover with limited number of health workers. Therefore, his side cooperated with political party to open vaccination service center in GOR Kalideres.

"We also try to get closer to residents and provide vaccination bags that can be accessed by residents easily and work together with private sector and community," he mentioned.

He also hoped mobile vaccine car program that has been launched by Jakarta Government can help his side to meet vaccination target in Pegadungan.
