Water channels along Jl. Gatot Subroto were cleaned up by 3 PPSU personnel of Karet Semanggi Urban Village, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, on Monday (7/12).
Once a week, PPSU personnel clean up channels on the location
Karet Semanggi Urban Village Economy and Development Section Head, Dedy Permadi stated, 3 PPSU personnel were deployed to dredge garbage and mud from those channels to anticipate inundation.
"Cleaning channels can make water flows well thus road will be not inundated when heavy rain falls," he said.
Channels at RW 01 Untung Jawa Island Urban Village CleanedAccording to him, total water channels that should be cleaned is about 500 meters. While channel cleaning progress has reached about 100 meters.
