Regency Turns Urban Village and Sub-district Office Halls into Controlled Isolation Area

Thousand Islands Regency turned urban village and sub-district office halls into controlled isolation area for asymptomatic COVID-19 patients in the region.

Providing controlled isolation location will make it easier to monitor medicines and foods for patients

Thousand Islands Regent, Junaedi mentioned, urban village and sub-district office halls will be used as controlled isolation area to anticipate the worst where many residents are exposed to COVID-19 and their homes are not suitable for self-isolation.

"We want residents who are exposed to COVID-19 to be placed in a proper place to minimize COVID-19 transmission," he stated when surveying Harapan Island and Kelapa Island Urban Villages, North Thousand Islands, Tuesday (7/13).

According to him, halls in 6 urban village offices and 2 sub-district offices will be used as controlled isolation area where it can accommodate about 10-16 patients in each location.

"Providing controlled isolation location will make it easier to monitor medicines and foods for patients. Thus we hope asymptomatic COVID-19 patients can recover quickly," he said.
