Taman Sari Sub-district Bina Marga Unit Coordinator, Ulul Albab mentioned, his side patched damaged pavement to make sure pedestrian could use it comfortably and safely.

"We repair 9 damaged parts on sidewalk with total length 30 meters and average width 30 centimeters," he informed, Wednesday (7/21).

According to him, damage was mostly caused by rain water and vehicles that often pass on the sidewalk.

"We deploy 9 personnel. They use buckets, crowbars, hoes, sand, cement, and concrete blocks to repair it," he said.

After repairing it, his side expected those sidewalks can be safer and more comfortable for pedestrians.
