Monitoring on AKAP Bus Operation at Kampung Rambutan Terminal is Being Intensified

Intercity Interprovincial (AKAP) bus operational at Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, East Jakarta has been closely monitored since PPKM Level 4 was implemented.

Until today, total 100 people cancelled their trips since Emergency PPKM was implemented

Travel documents of each AKAP bus passengers were checked, such as Worker Registration Certificate (STRP) for people's mobility in/out of Jakarta, vaccination certificate (minimum first dose vaccine), and negative COVID-19 antigen result (D-1 departure) or PCR (D-2 departure).

Kampung Rambutan Terminal Head, Made Joni conveyed, his side will check documents on each passengers before departure. They are allowed to depart only if they meet the requirements.

"Until today, total 100 people cancelled their trips since Emergency PPKM was implemented because they didn't bring STRP and negative antigen or PCR test result," he informed, Saturday (7/24).

He explained that officers also checked AKAP bus crews to ensure they had vaccination certificate (at least first dose) and negative COVID-19 test result.

"We have taken action against five drivers who were replaced by other drivers who have met the requirements," he said.

Documents for travelers have been regulated at Circular Letter of COVID-19 Handling Task Force Head No. 14/2021 about Provisions for Domestic Travel During Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic.

"This policy also refers to Circular Letter of Directorate General of Transportation Ministry No. 43/2021," he closed.
