Vaccination Activity at SMKN 24 Bambu Apus Targets 1,000 Students

Total 1,000 elementary, junior high, high school/vocational school students are targeted to receive first dose vaccine at SMKN 24 Bambu Apus, Cipayung, East Jakarta.

In two days, we are targeting to vaccinate 1,000 students

Vaccination activity which was held through collaboration between East Jakarta Education Sub-agency, RSUD Cipayung and Jakarta DPW Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) was monitored by Jakarta Vice Governor, Ahmad Riza Patria (Ariza), on Wednesday (8/4).

Cipayung Sub-district Head, Fajar Eko Satrio mentioned, vaccination service at SMKN 24 Bambu Apus aimed students aged 12-18 years. Participants were students from 6th grade elementary school to high/vocational school. This activity will be carried out until Thursday (8/5). Total 500 students are targeted to be vaccinated every day.

"Vaccination service center in school is expected to accelerate work in achieving vaccination target. In two days, we are targeting to vaccinate 1,000 students," he asserted.

East Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Indra Setiawan explained, DPW PPNI and RSUD Cipayung deployed 10 vaccinators and 7 health screening officers for this activity.

Moreover, RSUD Cipayung also prepared ambulance to be used as mini ICU in order to anticipate undesirable things.

"We hope vaccination activity can be carried out in other schools. Thus Jakarta residents aged 12 years and over can be vaccinated as targeted," he conveyed.
