Isolation Room Occupancy Rate at Graha Wisata Ragunan and TMII has Decreased Drastically

Occupancy rate of rooms for isolating residents exposed to COVID-19 in category of People Without Symptoms (OTG) at Graha Wisata Ragunan and Graha Wisata Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) has decreased drastically in recent days.

Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency's Pavilion and Graha Wisata TU UP Sub-section Head, Nurdawia conveyed, no rooms were used for self-isolation at Graha Wisata Ragunan since July 31, 2021. While at Graha Wisata TMII, 7 rooms are still occupied with total 14 OTGs as of August 5, 2021.

"Thank God, all patients at Graha Wisata Ragunan have returned, while there are still 7 rooms at Graha Wisata TMII which occupied by 14 patients. It has decreased drastically compared to the previous condition where it was full," she said, Friday (8/6).

Apart from decline in COVID-19 cases in Jakarta, the operation of Nagrak Public Housing and Pasar Rumput Public Housing also made occupancy rate at Graha Wisata Ragunan and TMII more controlled.

"Nagrak and Pasar Rumput Public Housings have large capacity for isolation area. They can accommodate thousands residents who need isolation," she added.

Although it had decreased drastically, she continued, Graha Wisata TMII and Ragunan could still be used for isolation as long as there was no further information or instruction from Jakarta Health Agency.

"So fare, there is no instruction to close it. In daily, we take care the building and sterilize it with disinfectant. Many health workers have returned to work in their respective hospitals and health centers," she explained.
