PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) has made another achievement in implementing GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) by winning three awards at the Best GRC & Performance Excellence Award 2021 which held by BusinessNews Indonesia Magazine.

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) won corporate award for the Best GRC For Corporate Governance 2021 (Transport Industries). Next, the Best Chief Executive Officer (CEO) category was awarded to William Sabandar as the President Director of PT. MRT Jakarta and the Best Chief Operating Officer (COO) category was awarded to Muhammad Effendi as Operation and Maintenance Director of PT. MRT Jakarta.

For PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda), he assessed, main component of transformation is integrated GRC in realizing business practices through I CAN which is an acronym for Integrity, Customer Focus, Achievement Orientation, and Nurturing Team Work, equipped with ISO tools and support from various stakeholders through collaboration to create innovation.
"COVID-19 pandemic is the beginning of era of disruption that drives company transformation," he added.
PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda), he conveyed, strives to continue creating new programs and carrying out good communication to all stakeholders in systematic and measurable manner. Meanwhile, GRC & Performance Excellence Award 2021 Organizer, Irnanda Laksanawan explained, award winners at GRC Award 2021 were based on various assessments.
Those assessments are company's commitment to implement Good Corporate Governance (GCG), strategies undertaken by CEO in dealing with global and domestic economic crisis during COVID-19 pandemic, as well as digital transformation as the key to success in implementing GRC in running a corporation.
