Arrangement Work of Three Sidewalks in Kebayoran Baru Has Reached 32 Percent

Arrangement work progress on three sidewalks in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, which carried out since June, has reached 32 percent.

South Jakarta Government Assistant for Economy and Development, Mukhlisin stated, arrangement work was started from improving sidewalk, water channel, utilities, and reforestation. Those three sidewalks are located on Jalan Suryo, Jalan Senopati, and Jalan Wolter Monginsidi.

"We will not only improve its appearance, but also make it more organized and comfortable for pedestrians," he said when monitoring the arrangement work in those three locations, Tuesday (8/10).

Jakarta Bina Marga Road Development and Improvement Section Head, Budi Cahyo stated, sidewalk arrangement work in those three locations was the continuation of regional strategic activities program 2021.

On Jalan Senopati and Jalan Suryo, he added, arrangement was carried out on the left and right sides of the road with 2 kilometers long and 2-3 meters wide on each sides.

Meanwhile on Jalan Wolter Monginsidi, arrangement was carried out on left and right side of the road for along 2 kilometers with width 1.5-2.5 meters on each sides.

"We estimate the arrangement work to be completed by the end of November," he mentioned.
