Give Premium Quality Rice, JPS: Proof of Happiness for its Residents

This rice aid is not given carelessly, but also pay attention to the quality side

The Social Agency (Dinsos), provided Non-cash Social Assistance (BSNT) in the form of premium quality rice for 1,007,379 Beneficiary families (KPM).

Jakarta Public Service (JPS) Executive Director, Mohammad Syaiful Jihad said, rice is a basic need of the people thus the existence of this rice assistance is very helpful for residents.

"This rice aid is not given carelessly, but also pay attention to the quality side. I think this is the Governor's commitment, to make the people happy," he expressed, Wednesday (8/11).

According to him, the two agencies tasked with preparing and distributing rice assistance were namely PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya and Perumda Pasar Jaya. They were very competent, including in maintaining the quality given to recipients.

"The packaging is also good, which is already completed with a special marker or sticker in the form of the Jaya Raya logo, the Dinsos and Jakarta Plus," he explained.

Surely the assistance received positive welcome from the recipients, including those who are residents of RT 02/03, Cilincing Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta.

One of recipients, Diah Susilowati (36), admitted that she was happy for receiving rice in clean and neat packaging sacks. The rice looks clean and smells good when opened

"Rice is good and very suitable for consumption. The good rice can be seen by naked eye and just holding it, it's different from the less good one," she explained.

Cilincing Urban Village Head, Sumarno expressed, through Perumda Pasar Jaya, the assistance had been received for 8,535 recipients.

"It has been distributed to 10 RWs and then continued to RW caretakers to share those in need door to door," he said.
