North Jakarta Satpol PP Carries Out Monitoring in Shopping Centers

North Jakarta Satpol PP monitored shopping centers that have been allowed to operate to comply with regulations, such as vaccination requirement, at least first dose, for shopping center visitors and employees.

North Jakarta Satpol PP Operation Section Head, Purnama mentioned, his side deployed tens personnel who worked in shifts to carry out monitoring at shopping centers.

"Satpol PP personnel will make sure people in malls have been vaccinated and able to show their vaccination certification," he said, Thursday (8/12).

If there are visitors and employees at shopping centers/malls who cannot show their vaccination certification, they will be advised to take vaccination first.

"Besides monitoring regarding vaccination requirements, our personnel will also ensure people's compliance with health protocols in shopping center area," he added.

For information, government has conducted trial to open malls/shopping centers gradually in PPKM Level 4 area until August 16, 2021. Visitors are required to show vaccination certification, at least first dose vaccination. However, children under 12 years old and elderly over 70 years old are still not allowed to do activities in shopping centers.
