In carrying out vaccination activities, he added, Jakarta Government tries to provide the best service for the community, without distinguishing regions or zoning, ID card, ethnicity, religions, professions, and others to ensure health and safety of residents in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 vaccination can provide protection for body to avoid virus or possibility of serious illness due to COVID-19 by triggering immune system thus immunity is formed.
Therefore, he advised Jakarta residents who haven't been vaccinated to immediately get vaccinated against COVID-19. He also expected people who have been vaccinated to be always disciplined in implementing health protocols and participate in breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission.
"We encourage Jakarta residents to immediately register and get vaccination to improve their antibody. Once again, thank you, let's make vaccination program a success. However, the best place is to stay at home, implement health protocols, and follow regulations of PPKM Level 4. Despite easing, we mustn't slack off, we must stay vigilant to be free from COVID-19 spread as soon as possible," he mentioned.
Based on data from Jakarta Health Agency as of August 13, 2021, for Vaccination Program, 8,861,264 people (99.1%) have been injected with first dose. While 4,007,949 people (44.8%) for the second dose. In addition, there is an adjustment to vaccination target data in Jakarta which totals to 8,941,211 people.

Residents who register online can choose time and place of vaccination, as well as being able to do pre-screening health test online. Besides, residents can check through Google Maps application to find out vaccination locations by writing "vaksin COVID-19", they can find the location and how to get there.
