41 Convalescent Plasma Bags Donated by COVID-19 Survivors at BNI Dukuh Atas MRT Station

As many as 41 convalescent plasma bags and 7 blood bags were collected from convalescent plasma and blood donation at BNI Dukuh Atas MRT Station on August 23-24, 2021.

I see high public enthusiasm and increasing public awareness

Jakarta PMI Health and Social Service Division Head, Sibroh Malisi conveyed, 74 COVID-19 survivors had registered themselves to donate convalescent plasma at the location. Based on the examination and screening results, only 41 COVID-19 survivors who were eligible to donate convalescent plasma.

"I see high public enthusiasm and increasing public awareness. This is a good collaboration," he expressed, Thursday (8/26).

He appreciated collaboration between PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda), PMI, and stakeholders in realizing humanitarian actions to help others.

"This collaborative activity educates and informs participants, especially COVID-19 survivors, to donate their convalescent plasma at PMI offices in five municipalities, including PMI Jakarta on Jalan Kramat Raya," he said.

Due to high public enthusiasm for this activity, his side will return to collaborate with PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) and various stakeholders to hold similar activity.

"We are trying to collaborate with South Jakarta IDI for similar activity in Lebak Bulus MRT Station, South Jakarta. PMI Jakarta is open to cooperate with anyone in the context of social activities for benefit of the community, especially those in need," he stated.
