Covid-19 First Shot on Untung Jawa Island Touches 93.74 Percent

The Untung Jawa Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district, Thousand Islands says the first dose has touched 93.74 percent of the target in accordance with the data until Thursday (8/26).

Untung Jawa Island Sub-district Urban Village Head, Supriyadi said, as many as 1,813 out of 1,934 targeted people aged 12 and over had received the first dose.

"We will continue to collaborate to achieve the maximum target thus we can reach herd immunity," he expressed, Friday (8/27).

According to data recapitulation, he added, those who had not received the first dose of vaccine were people with a history of illness, changed addresses outside the island, students in Islamic boarding schools outside the island and pregnant women.

"As for the first dose has been given to 846 people. It is still being intensified in puskesmas and RPTRAs starting at 8 AM to 4 PM," he stated.

As for the information, as of August 27, no residents in Untung Jawa Island were exposed to Covid-19 or undergoing self-isolation. The island has entered the green zone.
