Vaccination in Jakarta shows good progress with increasing vaccination rate. As of September 3, 2021, total 9,821,061 people or 109.8% of target 8,941,211 people had been vaccinated. For this achievement, Jakarta Government gave appreciation to all parties who supported and collaborated in vaccination program in DKI Jakarta.

Jakarta Regional Secretary, Marullah Matali conveyed, Jakarta is not alone but supported by many parties in implementing vaccination program. "We are grateful and appreciate the support and collaboration from all parties from health workers, regional officers, TNI/Police, private sides, Central Government, and collaborators. Thank you for your enthusiasm, focus, and collaboration by mobilizing all potentials to support us in achieving vaccination target in Jakarta," he said, as quoted from PPID Press Release, Saturday (9/4).
In order to save Jakarta residents from COVID-19 pandemic, he assessed that Jakarta Government will continue to carry out vaccinations in collaboration with all parties. This achievement shouldn't let one's guard down, but instead become a motivation to achieve optimal herd immunity in Jakarta and surrounding area.

Meanwhile, special vaccination rate for residents with Jakarta ID Card (KTP) as of September 3, 2021 reached 5,712,452 people (63.89%) who have been vaccinated. While there are still 3,228,759 people (36.11%) with Jakarta ID Card who haven't been vaccinated.
He encouraged regional officials such as RT/RW administrators, Urban Village and Sub-district Heads, as well as Mayors and Regent to collaborate with Dasawisma cadres and other parties to monitor and collect data on residents with Jakarta ID card who haven't been vaccinated. Because there are still many residents with Jakarta ID card who haven't been vaccinated, both those who have died, moved, and others whose whereabouts are unknown.
On the occasion, he also gave his appreciation to regions that managed to be green zone, namely Thousand Islands Regency and region with highest vaccination rate category.
There are seven regions that received awards, namely:
1. Thousand Islands Regency as Administrative City/Regency with highest vaccination rate;
2. East Jakarta as Administrative City/Regency with highest number of vaccination;
3. North Jakarta as Administrative City with highest vaccination rate;
4. South Thousand Islands Sub-district as Sub-district with highest vaccination rate;
5. Cengkareng as Sub-district with highest number of vaccination;
6. Pari Island Urban Village as urban village with the highest vaccination rate.
7. Kapuk Urban Village as urban village with the highest number of vaccination.
"This appreciation is given to motivate all regions to succeed in increasing vaccination coverage to protect and provide best service to Jakarta residents. Therefore, we need to stay positive, maintain health protocols, and carry out vaccination for the safety of all of us," he mentioned.
