Jakarta Government acts quickly to stop Limited Face-to-Face Learning (PTM) in schools that violate regulations of Phase 1 Limited PTM. It was confirmed by Jakarta Education Agency Head, Nahdiana, on Saturday (9/4).

She ensured that Jakarta Education Agency had investigated SDN 05 Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, shortly after video that showed violation on Limited PTM went viral, because it was not disciplined in applying health protocols, in this case not wearing mask properly during learning activity. For this violation, she emphasized that Limited PTM activity at SDN 05 Jagakarsa must be stopped.
"It will be suspended temporarily because it is not in accordance with applicable provisions and procedures, thus it should be re-evaluated. I hope all educational units to learn from this incident to comply with provisions set by Jakarta Education Agency and be disciplined in complying with health protocols, especially for safety of children and other school staffs," she said at Jakarta Education Agency Office, Kuningan, South Jakarta, as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.
Limited PTM in Cengkareng Implemented with Strict Health ProtocolsFurthermore, temporary suspension of Phase 1 Limited PTM has been stated in Decree of Jakarta Education Agency No. 883/2021 on Stipulation of Educational Units that Implement Mixed Limited Face-to-Face Learning Phase 1 during Public Activity Restrictions (PPKM) Extension Period in Fifth Dictum, namely Educational Units that don't carry out its obligation related to health protection for community within educational units as referred to in Second Dictum (implementing strict health protocols in accordance with provisions of laws and regulations) will be temporarily suspended for Mixed Limited Face-to-Face Learning Activity Phase 1.
During the temporary suspension period, Jakarta Education Agency will re-verify the related educational unit until it is ready to implement Limited PTM. "We will continue to monitor and evaluate thus something similar will not happen again," she conveyed.
