Canal on Jalan Kota Bambu Selatan VI RT 05/05, Kota Bambu Selatan Urban Village, Palmerah, West Jakarta is finally cleaned up after tens of year piled with trash and covered by illegal building. The canal was dredged and the building demolished by Palmerah Sub-district officer.

Control box will be provided to ease the cleaning and dredging of the canal

Palmerah Sub-district Head, Agus Triyono said, as much as 40 Water Management of Palmerah Public Works (PU) Section officers and 10 sub-district janitors were deployed to clean and uncover the water canal. "As much as 90 personnel were deployed, supported by Satpol PP to arrange the traffic around location," he told, Tuesday (11/25).

Palmerah Water Management Head Section, Erna added, the dredging process done in the morning since the area is used by traders at night.

Her side also closed the road to ease the effort. The traffic was diverted.

" Control box will be provided to ease the cleaning and dredging of the canal ," she said.
